The Price_format option determines how the number (or price) is formatted. If the option is blank, it takes the price format of the form options. If the option in the price format is blank, the format of the global settings will be taken.
By default, the price format is 0,0[.]00

The decimal point character can be changed in the global settings -> Price section.
Note that if you would like to show more decimal numbers than two digits, the precision option has to be greater, too.
